So, how's the Isis War going?

We seem to get one or two news blurbs on any action over there a week.
This with a big coalition, Syria and the Russians going at it hell bent for leather supposedly.

Is it really one day of action, six days off?
Sure as hell seems like it.

Approximately. Apparently action only takes place when the political masters of the ground forces have a requirement to look good - usually just before a Foreign Minister's meeting or some such.
