HSBC have announced they will move some staff from London to Paris if we leave the single market.
HSBC - Staff Relocation

HSBC Relocating Some Staff
Re: HSBC Relocating Some Staff
Just a brief reminder. The HSBC is/was the Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corp, with a tendency to move to wherever suits, as and whenever. Some might suggest rats leaving a sinking ship, but it was common practise to flood the bilges to give the impression of sinking to get the rats to leave. Tomorrow the pumps will be running and the ship will be fine. Minus the rats.

1000 out of 48,000 is not an earthquake. Think on the bright side, the staff might not be British...............

From TJ's link:
"The head of the Eurogroup of finance ministers, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, said limited access to the single market would be the "price" of the UK leaving the EU."
Interesting. Appears there's a price?

Re: HSBC Relocating Some Staff
I think we may well see some other city institutions following HSBC here - it's all about regulation after all, and if they want to operate in a particular aspect of the financial market of Europe they will need to think where best to be located. Interesting effect.
