Thinking back it was more of an interview than a debate - was still a crock of ***** though.

Haven't seen a proper debate in a very long time.
All we got for the Referendum was the so-called mass debate.
Few would deny this was at the insistence of DC, who is clearly a Mass-debater of the First Order.

Theresa May's record in office, the highlights; or perhaps lowlights would be more accurate.

Sure as heck not going to be Corbyn, if the Israeli Ambassador has anything to do with it.

Agreed, very competent, professional and has a proven track record of tackling difficult issues. She is the right person for the tough negotiations that lie ahead.

I am tending to agree, didn't think Boris was suitable, and it is relief that he has stepped away, Gove is a tw@t, so Mrs May may be the best of a bad job.

Whilst we are talking about tw@ts, the greaseball Bliar is now trying to elbow his way into the Brexit negotiations, a more untrustworthy negotiator couldn't be imagined.

Before May gets too hot and horny about moving in to Number 10, she might wish to remember that she will there be guarded 24/7 by the boys and girls of the Met. Aside from ACPO-rankers (you didn't believe that BS about ACPO being wound up, did you? It still exists as before, albeit under a new name) she has screwed and screwed and screwed the ordinary working copper in every way she can for years. Past performance being a good indicator of future performance, can anyone seriously consider she will change now? Keep this dangerous woman (I nearly said cow) out of Government.
The older I get, the grumpier I get.
I may soon have to start biting people. X(

Another article on Theresa May's appalling record at the Home Office, notable for the fact it was published online yesterday by the Telegraph, then pulled not long afterwards - but the internet never forgets ;)

Yep she is a tough old girl; her nonsense approach is exactly what we need during the EU exit negotiations. It will take a steely spirit to unify her party and she is the best candidate to do that.

It's just like Game of Thrones, isn't it?

Lots of bloody, pointless, lying bastardry and lopping off of appendages by the so-called men, then the women start taking over.

Theresa May = Queen Margaery

When do the dragons show up? ;)

You're On The Ball, as ever, OFSO.

It just felt like Dragon Time was coming soon; thanks for the detail.

My mother-in-law, who is aged 94, despite being blind and housebound, displays a remarkably accurate view of the world and is rarely, if ever, wrong in her predictions. My wife said she mentioned the forthcoming Russian aggression some months ago. Of course once Putin is firmly engaged in an invasion of Lithuania, Latvia, etc. - possibly also Poland - Russia can expect an attack from China. And why not ?

In watching European leaders squabbling over the trivial matters that concern them, I'm reminded of a bunch of baboons fighting over a few ears of corn, while under cover of the jungle, a couple of tigers look on, wondering which to take first.

Possibly Theresa May, when elected, might take a few steps in the right direction.

It is fortunate that Mrs Merkel will have a nice new European army to deal with invasions on her doorstep, so we can sit this one out. Our (rather reduced) Army can sit around Catterick playing dominoes while the continent sort their own mess out.

Possibly those opposed to Trident may reflect on what's happening, but unless it's on telly they won't notice.

I think that this is a Griffon rather than a dragon, but I like it.
