He knows. He's just playing faux ignorance 'cos you insulted his Dear Leader by not using his name.

Back to the thread, US - Canadian cooperation in air defense has been exemplary since NORAD was founded. We have always worked together to protect our nations. I worked at Tyndall AFB, FL with a lot of Canadians in the aftermath of 9/11 securing North American airspace with fighters on alert and in the air over our major cities, including taskngs for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. I've also worked many times with training and operations with the Canadian F-18s at Cold Lake. My take on that is that you can never have enough Canadians on your team on the military side. Politically, I wash my hands of them from time to time.

Canadians were there at D-Day in 1944, and before and after that. They have pulled their weight and then some.

During the war of 1812 American militia invaded Canada and burned the then Capital, York, now Toronto. I've invited them back several times to repeat the exercise but they have always declined. :D

Canadians are generally so polite I can't imagine fighting them.

We Detroiters will most likely get in your face if we feel we're being dissed.

I always marvel at how going over the bridge or through the tunnel to Windsor is leaving one world for another, like leaving an urban jungle for the bucolic countryside.
