I was hoping that if the protesters were offstage and presented little or no threat to the toffs, then maybe Plod could have wandered off elsewhere and left the self-gluers to the tender mercies of the adoring peasantry.

Then Plod could, after the ensuing row, claimed that “they wuz all right when we left them, guv” and referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, then sauntered off down to the old Dog & Duck for a well-earned pint or three.🤣

Oops, wrong again?!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65527007

But even more curious is that on visiting Auntie Beeb's news website 1 minute ago, this item is no longer in the morass of crap which is considered priority news.

It occupied top spot at 0810 BST today, but has trickled down much much lower as if down the leg of the many 'Tenna'* wearers at the ceremony on Saturday.

At this point boac will get excited on wondering whether I have first-hand practical experience of these* items but alas, prepare to be disappointed... :(( =))

Boac would simply ask you to get the kids using your site access to check their spelling of the product. It is thereby obvious they have no 'first-hand practical experience'.

Deleting one 'n' as I write.... :-o

Wrong again. It's just that the intelligent amongst us are able to use search engines. Not something the youth of today understands properly, obviously. Good luck.

I see you can still buy stink bombs in glass vials, dropping one of those down the back of a protestors neck and giving him/her a friendly pat on the back would be a nice send off..

The Manchester Arena enquiry - this latest enquiry https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/202 ... al-charges adds to the growing discontent with the way the police force in the UK is conducting itself.

If NornIron is considered part of the UK, then this lot who were allegedly overhauled with the disbanding of the Royal Ulster Constabulary and being replaced by the Police Service of Northern Ireland need to sharpen up, or else more lives will be lost;

The clarification that a phone, laptop and paperwork were left in an unattended car does not inspire confidence in the security awareness of that individual and I doubt if their colleagues will be buying them drinks in the coppers’ drinking dens? ~X(

Can it get any worse with the “Thin Blue Line” and it’s obsession with thought crime?

And whilst on the topic of womens’ safety, I must review my posting moniker in the light of this madness which also surfaced over the weekend;

The performance standards of barking mad have just been elevated to levels which I cannot possibly attain, so I might reluctantly have to cede that acquired attribute to others better qualified than myself? :)) =))
