Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry have two new Netflix shows in production

https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/11/entertai ... index.html

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry are continuing their work with Netflix.

The streaming giant confirmed to CNN on Thursday that the couple’s Archewell Productions has two new nonfiction series in production at Netflix as part of a multi-year overall deal signed in 2020.

The news was first reported by Deadline.

The first series will be curated by Meghan and “will celebrate the joys of cooking & gardening, entertaining, and friendship” according to Netflix.

It comes on the heels of the announcement of another new business venture of hers, an apparent lifestyle brand named the American Riviera Orchard.

The second new series is, according to Netflix, “shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, will provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.”

Both shows are in early stages of production and their titles and release dates will be released at a later date.

Netflix has already worked with the couple on three other nonfiction series, including “Harry & Meghan” which peeled back the curtain on their relationship with the royal family and their move to the US after they stepped down from their royal duties.

The company also produced for the streaming giant “Live To Lead,” an interview series featuring world leaders, and the “Heart of Invictus,” a documentary series about the event and organization whose founding patron is Prince Harry.

She thinks that she is the next Martha Stewart. :-o [-X :((

Prince Harry now officially considers the U.S. — not Britain — his primary residence
The change was revealed in a filing with the U.K.'s Companies House on Wednesday. It comes as Prince William returns to royal duties on Thursday for the first time since Princess Kate's cancer announcement.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/prin ... rcna148341

LONDON — Prince Harry now officially considers himself a resident of the United States, according to a new U.K. regulatory filing.

The Duke of Sussex moved to California in 2020 with his American wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, after the couple stepped back from royal duties.

The prince had suggested that this may have been a temporary move.

"The U.K. is my home and a place that I love, that will never change," he said in a speech soon after the announcement. "We both do everything we can to fly the flag and carry out our roles for this country with pride," he said.

But a filing on Wednesday from Travalyst Ltd, which was founded by the prince, showed that America is now his primary residence — at least for business purposes.

The listing was added to Companies House, a government agency that lists public documents for privately-owned businesses in the Britain.

Using his full name Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke Of Sussex, it said: "New country/State Usually Resident: United States."

The London-based company, set up in April 2020, is 75% owned by the prince and describes itself as an advisor to "The world's leading travel brands" on sustainable tourism.

Its most recent set of accounts, covering the year to 30 June 2023, show the company made a profit of £56,620 ($70,600).

The change was filed this week but was made on June 29 last year, the same day it was reported that Harry and Meghan had officially left Frogmore Cottage, a royal property near to Windsor Castle west of London.

Harry told a reporter in February that he had considered applying to become an American citizen.

Harry and Meghan have made headlines in recent years more for their media careers.

His memoir, "Spare," shot to the top of bestseller charts in the U.K. with its frank and detailed account of his early life, including losing his virginity in a field outside a country pub.

The couple last week announced the latest productions as part of their multi-year contract with Netflix, a documentary series about polo and a lifestyle show focused on friendship and food.

This week Meghan launched her own lifestyle brand by sending strawberry jam, or jelly, to influencers across the U.S. The jars were labelled "American Riviera Orchard — Montecito," referring to to the upmarket neighborhood of Santa Barbara where the couple now live with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Thursday also marks the first official royal engagement for Prince William, the heir to the throne, since his wife Princess Kate announced she was receiving treatment for cancer.

The prince was due to visit community groups in west London and the neighboring area of Surrey to highlight efforts to reduce food waste as a way to feed people in need and reduce emissions that are harmful to the environment.

Anyone for a jar of jam with the label peeling off and no indication of the contents. Apparently delivered to 50 select people in a basket of lemons with dead flowers. Seems to be strawberry, so why the lemons and dead flowers?

Ginge has awarded a lady with 'Soldier of the year' USA. Why a Brit and why wasn't he wearing his coronation medal? The latter a huge insult to HMK.

Prince Harry celebrates Invictus Games in London but won't see his father King Charles III
King Charles III is too busy to meet up with his youngest son, a spokesperson for the prince said.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/prin ... rcna151195

Prince Harry arrived in London on Tuesday to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games but won’t see his father during the visit, a spokesperson said.

King Charles III, who returned to his official duties last week after being sidelined for three months with cancer, is too busy to meet up with his youngest son, the spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said.

“The duke of course is understanding of his father’s ... commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon,” a statement said.

Harry, who has a strained relationship with his family, rushed to London in February for a very brief visit after his father was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer.

Harry, 39, has seen his father infrequently since the prince quit royal duties in 2020 and moved to California with his wife, Meghan, citing what they said were unbearable intrusions and racist attitudes of the British media. He has since detailed his rocky relationship with his family in TV interviews, a documentary and a memoir, “Spare.”

Shortly after his last quick trip to London, Harry told “Good Morning America” that he thought his father’s illness could help bring his family closer.

Harry was in London for events commemorating the tournament he founded for wounded troops and veterans.

As long as Daddy publicly apologises for treating Meggypoos and Harrypoos so badly...

The illness also brings the chances of a significant will and testament closer and his beastly brother taking over the big job. Best get in quick Harry and try and engineer a reconciliation because William won't be half as nice as your father!

In London a child asked Ginge why his wife wasn't with him. He replied that it wasn't safe. What do you mean asked the child. He was stuck with that one.

See there is an amount of confusion in Nigeria. Most people do not know who they are. Soldiers in a hospital wondered who Ginge was on his moral boosting visit to them. 'I had this white guy with a bald head and ginger beard visit me in hospital. It made me feel much better.'

Seriously? The child did? :)
My impression (from the headlines) is that they went to Nigeria's safety for Meghan to be able to say: I married him as he's smart and always tells the truth, and of course to have fresh audience for their stories of never being silent and difficult life when your mother dies?

Having watched a few episodes of Michael Palin's 'Nigeria', currently on UK TV, I can only say that they are welcome to it. The state of the country is appalling and, as might be expected, they faced significant challenges with security, especially when one of the security vehicles broke down just as it was going dark. It was clear that even Palin, the consummate traveller, was quite nervous.
The pictures of Meghan surrounded by the locals simply emphasised her whiteness, IMHO :))

Methinks that others have made the same conclusion, but I will once again state that IMHO, once all the dust has settled from this entire tawdry affair that the end results are not going to be a 'Happy Ending' for anyone!

Especially Ginge and Whinge.

And frankly, DILLIGAF!
