It's not that often that something appears in the media with which I am very much acquainted - perhaps space research, or telecoms or electronics or even weather in my locality - but invariably when it does I find the experts are talking complete and utter BS. Total uninformed rubbish.
Assuming the same thing applies to subjects I know nothing about (a lot), can I assume the same rules apply? Rhetorical question I know, but it's causing me to be sceptical about almost everything I see or hear.
(Remark brought on by the photograph of Katie Price in a bikini).
Complete and utter BS
Re: Complete and utter BS
Haven't seen (and do not wish to see) the photo you mention, but only to comment that
is an excellent starting point.sceptical about almost everything I see or hear.
Re: Complete and utter BS
If someone talks about something that is in my field of expertise, and you know they are talking nonsense, then how much of what they say about things outwith my knowledge can I trust?

First science class at secondary school, teacher started off by telling us:-
"Only believe half of what you see, a quarter of what you read, and nothing at all of what you hear"
I have never seen any reason to do otherwise (except on here, of course)

Umm....from comment made by BOAC, I gather that the Female mentioned is not overly attractive.
Had much the same said to me in much the same situation.First science class at secondary school, teacher started off by telling us:-
"Only believe half of what you see, a quarter of what you read, and nothing at all of what you hear"
You only live twice. Once when you're born. Once when you've looked death in the face.
