Sitting on our terrace watching dusk approach, whoosh of air from overhead - a couple of hundred feet above us
a small aircraft about the size of a 152, completely silent. Watched it go out over the Bay, turn parallel with Empuriabrava drop zone strip, descending, disappeared from our view.
Nothing on FR24 so no transponder.
Any small electric aircraft out there?
Just need to hear from boing and EA01 please on chosen payment methods.
WARNING
Is anyone in touch with 'boing'? I am getting a little concerned for him as he has gone big-time 'NORDO'?
OCCASIONAL payments via Paypal are coming in significantly SHORT due to PP charges - AUS and NZ in particular. I may need in future to surcharge the money due for PP payments to avoid being out of pocket! Do watch PP fees!

A Pipistrel Velis Electro perhaps? It might be EC-NYP which is based at Barcelona-Sabadell (LELL) Aero Club.

Re: Electric ?
There were a couple of them at Old Buckenham recently. I didn't see them fly, but they were on the list to do so. They apparently get about a bit - one of them had been to Kenya apparently.

Re: Electric ?
Saw one of these displayed at Brèves airfield in France recently. It was uncannily quiet. It is being used as a training aircraft by a couple of French companies now.CharlieOneSix wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 5:39 pmA Pipistrel Velis Electro perhaps?
