New options for aquatic life

#1 Post by Boac » Wed Nov 11, 2015 10:04 pm

Hot on the fins of the announcement that Seaworld in San Diego is to 'drop' its performing whales comes news that American Airlines have a new opening for sealife - a B777 has returned to JFK with a 'seal knocking on the windscreen'.

No *****, Sherlock! =))

Having swum with False Killer Whales at Seaworld, (Florida), and been in close proximity to the seals I'm at a loss as to how they got past security and got out on the pan to be able to carry off such a feat... None of the sea life I encountered had the required documentation to get out onto the pan and therefore near the aircraft...

This whole thing is a bit puzzling...
Reasons for being banned to date:-

1. Espousing extreme views
2. PITA, (love this one)...

No sh*t, Sherlock! =))

Poor seal had probably ingested RainBoe rather than his daily quota of sardines or was simply cold and wanted to come inside...

Talking about RainBoe, I doubt any self respecting seal would have knocked on his windshield no matter what the circumstances. I wonder what happened to that cantankerous bugger?

Boac, I included the old link to remind some folks what RainBoe was. As to who he was I guess all those that post here will remember the enigma and character the man was, toxic of Tunbridge Wells as he was. I am sorry to hear he went sick. I imagine his BP was always high, poor bugger.

I remember Rainboe quite well. Wasn't he the poster who, quite awhile ago, mentioned something along the lines of "Flying in an aircraft at 500 mph, swinging in the air 30 degrees to an fro", or something like that.

Flying a death tube at 600 mph, rocking 30 degrees side to side...

Carries the seal of classic comedy! ^:)^

That's the one! I just about pissed myself when I first saw that so many years ago.
