The Largest Aircraft on Floats
I asked myself a question that I couldn't answer. Not difficult!
What was/is the largest 'float plane'?
I know things are ambiguous in this area, but for the purpose of this question, I classify anything that floats on its hull, such as a Short Sunderland/Spruce Goose/Boeing 314 Clipper, as a 'flying boat'. Thus not qualifying.

Charlie 16, that looks more like a single hull therefore it is a flying boat.
Sise that is definitely a boat or are you claiming it's a float?

Re: The Largest Aircraft on Floats
That is a 'Flying Boat' in my book.
It lands on its hull, its floats are just stabilisers.
As I said earlier, it looks like C16 got it in one, and killed of what thought was an interesting thread.
But I've been wrong before, someone do it again.

Still reckon the Concorde could’ve cracked it with enough shackles holding it on and a long enough run.
