World Cup in Japan - Rugby Union
Off day at Castle Goblin so just tuned my ITV app into the Japan Russia match. Any other rugby fans here or am I tout seul!?
The Japanese are looking very good against the Russians.

Of zero interest to me other than that my son is in Russia at the moment and apparently it's quite a big thing there as they are playing JP.

At least worth watching for pretty Japanese women in the well filled stands!
Good performance by the Japanese who have just won a bonus point. Kudos to the Russians for making the championship mind!
Perhaps I should have posted on the Sports forum. I am sure the mod. will move if necessary, apologies.

Interestingly, the Russian Rugby federation was started by famous test pilot Vladimir Ilyushin.

Pleased to see Australia get up against Fiji. Although the Fijians gave them a good scare. The ABs against the Springboks.. well, you really have to be on fire to beat the ABs. Looks like some good games coming up.

England and Tonga play at 11:15. I don't think England will be much troubled in winning this one. I see the Scots were hammered by the Irish. New Zealand, despite their form of late, are my favourites to win the championship. There, I have probably doomed them.

Re: World Cup in Japan - Rugby Union
I thought the ABs would be against it with the Springboks but what a game!
Mrs FD2 cheering on the Scots but lost interest at half time - the Irish walked it and made Scotland look like a club side. Still, there's not really much of a following for the game in Scotland but they have played much better than this over the last couple of years. Well done the Nips too - they are building a good following in Japan. More countries playing can only be good for the game, I hope!

I can see why you’re watching egg chasing instead of United

Wales Australia. Best match yet. Neither side left anything on the field of play.

Well done Wales - Cymru am byth!
Well done to the Nips - their spirit is still alive - banzai!
It's great when these unexpected results occur, otherwise it just gets predictable and boring.

+1 to both previous posts.
The Welsh Aussie game was almost too close to call but Wales emerged the worthy winners. Classic stuff.
