I'm stupid enough !
Of the 272 members 194 are inactive or deceased, I have been fairly strict in my counting, 78 is more than I thought.

Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits, on St David's Day and Shrove Tuesday/Pancake day.
High overcast and a rather mere 14°C here at present.
Have put away the electric fans, not expecting to need them again until Novemberish.

t'unfortunate thing is that 'my lot' don't go much in the way of shriving, so there ain't no-one to 'do' me. Except...

Please may one have your blessing, Reverend Mother?

Went into town to put petrol in Mrs 1DC's car, Sainsburys didn't have any diesel but would be topped up again tonight..
1DC, was this statement meant to be a "Spot the Deliberate Mistake" competition?

"Went into town to put petrol in Mrs 1DC's car, Sainsburys didn't have any diesel but would be topped up again tonight."

Was that a lucky shortage or were you intending to put diesel in her petrol car?

Petrol/ diesel into the wrong tank tends to make the outbound journey an expensive waste of time... :-? :))

Good morning fellow members. One can hope March will be a better month.

I just completed the yearly "dry-month" tradition. About to head to the pool.

I misread that as dry-mouth tradition and was going to suggest not drinking from the pool!

I know. 'Poetic' licence (it also looks a lot better....). You don't happen to have a record of your 'research', do you?

On that basis we will need a significant generous personal 'donation' of (estimated) around £250 in September or about £3-4 a head to keep it going - for 78 folk.

Edited to correct appalling maths....

I heard a rumour that you were going to start charging £1.00 per posted music video, thus adroitly building up a good capital reserve and challenging Spotify in its very own market! New brooms sweep clean and all that! =))

On a serious note, £5.00 per user doesn't seem to be too onerous to me although the effort of administering such a scheme, chasing up subs defaulters, rusticating the intransigent from the faculty normal, and generally staying on top of such a scheme, will certainly be onerous.

Morning folks. A bit cloudy but giving the solar oven a bash. Lawn mower is pissing out fuel. Don't know why hopefully someone can look at it. Junior night guard (gardener) last night. We knew that he didn't do his 06.00 patrol because we were awake. Checked the log he had written '06.00'. For 05.00 he had written 05.07. The cameras indicated he did not do it. 04.00 he did. 03.00 was a classic. He had written 03.17. What actually happened was that at 03.23 he woke up went over to the table wrote 03.17 then went straight back to his chair and fell asleep again. I couldn't be bothered going back any more just docked him 60%. He knows that there are cameras all over the place how stupid can one be.

Morning all.

Just returned from an early trip to Mercadona, Aldi and Tesco.

Only 10c early but now up 1 degree. Clear blue sky. Up to 18 c later it is thought by some.

Suspect charging for music videos might involve payments of royalties. For every dollar collected, outgoings might equate to 10 due. :D

Arts for art's sake, money for God's sake....

I was going to post a video of' Streets of London' by Ralph McTell as a presentiment of TGG's impecunious state after the Boac music tax comes into operation... =))
