Morning folks. Sunny high 20s. The banking application on my mobile phone is playing up. Had to pay 2 companies on line this morning which is a pain.

G’day
13°c, The soothsayer is going for 19°c
Full Overcast.

So a medical day, first to the Hospital, Radiology for an x-ray of the heart area then to the Health Center for results.

Ginger seems to think my problems stem from my heart.

Meanwhile SM got results of her scan yesterday and they have discovered a small tumour on a kidney, they think it’s benign and are going to monitor it.

Pair of demics we are.

Best wishes from us too.
Many years ago a scan revealed a small cyst on my thyroid gland. I was told to keep an eye on it. I rate this high on my list of useless medical advice.

All the best to the Wodders'.

Fruit trees being watered on solar power.

No METAR or TAF for MUB yet again today and we are supposed to be 'International'.

small tumour on a kidney,
Wods-I have one of those. Found during a CT scan for something else. They did another scan 6 months later to check it wasn't "up to something" (a medical term?) Very common apparently-usually people don't know they have them unless they are found by accident. Mine is just hanging out minding its own business, so no more follow up.

I am off for some test re. my carpel tunnel. Started during grad school, many years ago. All the papers I had to write started it-it's hell being a history major. It has finally got to the stage where it is really bothering me. Electric shocks were mentioned. I stopped listening after that :-o

The electric ‘shocks’ are Nerve Conduction Tests and are quite minor. I had them done about 15 years ago to confirm a Peripheral Neuropathy diagnosis on my feet. They also confirmed carpel tunnel which I wasn’t aware of then and still have no symptoms!

I am going mad. Brought a new pc back from England. Trying to get it to work with my Spanish keyboard, but not to communicate with me in Spanish AND dealing with a new version of Windows. I foresee going to Linux Mint tomorrow.

It's a compatibility problem.
Your Spanish keyboard doesn't even wake up till 11am. Your British PC has been available for work since 8am, but has now mysteriously disappeared on a "tea break" now that the keyboard is available for work.
The tea break, plus "delivery issues' will last until ten past 4, by which time your keyboard will be on siesta.

Good morning, 12.6°C on the way to 20°C.
Moon will be Full in a little under 3 hours, at 11:49am NZST, 23:49 GMT.
Very bright moonlight last night.

Gardener-man comes soon, swingin' his little axe, I have a list of instructions.

Ambulance went along my street, siren operating, earlier. They usually turn the siren off as they enter this side-street, must have been in a hurry... God speed, whoever it was for.

Good wishes to any afflicted here, also to those undergoing inspections, hope you meet with approval.

Hope all is well, Wodders. Recent scan showed a 'shadow' on a kidney, but follow up showed it was just a cyst.
Morning all, cloudy today but expected to clear later. Currently 18C, forecast max 27C. Off to see vascular surgeon today, presumably to have results of scan and forthcoming procedures explained.
Hope to finish re-hanging kitchen doors this morning.

Thank you Fox3, that was a laugh I needed. (It was a joke, wasn't it?)

All the best to the Wodrick's regarding their medical tests.

My day started sunny, but as soon as I switched on the washing machine the sun decided to turn off and hide behind clouds, what am I doing wrong?

I just said aloud to myself, Oo, that'll be finished, I'd better go and peg it out.
... No, it was sitting in a sodden heap, the load having become unbalanced.
Re-started.

Actually Catalans start work early but take a long breakfast break from nine to ten. This leads to the phenomena that if you want to speak to your bank manager or lawyer without his secretary knowing, you must meet him in the cafe where he always takes his breakfast.

Not a good start to the day. Put my tea mug down half on, half off the cork coaster on my bedside table. It fell off, flooding the table, floor - and my pajama trousers. I was enjoying it, too.
