A lot of pop songs sounds fine played on a cheap radio in the corner of the workplace, they are scored to.
When I worked in advertising, I took a tip from Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics
The final mix of all my jingles were played on 'grots' - basic car radio speakers and a cheap mono TV
Worked a treat, but absolutely sang if you had a decent car stereo or a Dolby stereo telly

Almost a billion views
This was released in my second year at Uni. Must have heard it a thousand times. Often at 3am.
Tears For Fears were big that year too

For some reason this one popped into my brain yesterday.
I never knew it had a sequel until then, noticed it in the list to the right.

Speaking of 3am.
Neither of these sound good on old tin boxes. But on a system that is probably illegal under Strategic Arms Limitations Treaties and causes the entire city's light to flicker..

This young lady gives Sabine a run for her money.
This song probably came out before her father was born.

Speaking of epic rock tracks...
I heard this live, Knebworth 1985, and the Scorpions were there too!
Meatloaf also, and headlining were Deep Purple.
