The Ancient Mariner
Thank you for that, Rossian. A special memory for you.
I'd like to think that she did, too.

Superb. ^:)^

A bit of lysergic acid diethylamide psychedelia on a Sunday. Try saying that with a mouth full of tea and biscuits...

Emailed my cousin in Perth earlier, and reiterated thanks for so patiently and so often lending me some of his record albums years ago:

Car-Car (Live) - Peter, Paul & Mary [5:01]

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band [2:02]

Good Day Sunshine - The Beatles [2:12]

Songs that pop into your mind for no apparent reason:

Rosie - Don Partridge [2:16]

Glad you liked that, limeygal.

The first time I remember hearing this hymn was on the radio: I thought it was so lovely I didn't want it to end. In my opinion this is the only possible tune for this hymn, no other will do -

Charles Wesley's Love Divine, All Loves Excelling, tune Hyfrydol [5:08]

"And to think that it's the same dear old Moon..."

Was in contact with an old girlfriend recently and we both had a giggle about this one... Men and women, it will never work but, strangely, we get on, with or without each other... :)

YT prompted me to recall another item we sang at the Auckland Town Hall: The Coventry Carol, not in Polish though:

Philip Stopford - Luli lulaj [6:02]

"And to think that it's the same dear old Moon..."

No Irish in my ancestry as far as I know, but this is one of the many tunes my father used to whistle:

The Rising of the Moon - Na Casaidigh (The Cassidys)

Fugitive Words - Htennek Niwhsa [1:56]

How I wish I knew where some of these old photos were taken...

An Rìbhinn Mhalda - Griogair Labhruidh [5:44]

"And to think that it's the same dear old Moon..."

A while ago when I was catching up with Sherlock Holmes and YT ran a proper algorithm, it suggested this, and I enjoyed the compilation of scenes from Holmes:

32 Flavors - Ani DiFranco (Beyond Your Peripheral Vision) [4:00]

Thought You Should Know ~ Morgan Wallen [3:58]
