All of the ads show the people using the shoes wearing socks but don't address how they get the socks on. :-o :-? :ymdevil:

My very elderly neighbour had a 'contraption' consisting of two long sticks that he used to pull on his stockings.

It seems to be called a sock butler,

I buy a package of 12 identical pairs at Costco for $15. As individual socks develop holes or disappear the herd gets smaller but never a pair missing.
Wash, rinse, dry, repeat...
Do you hold a special ceremony for "The Last Sock"? :-?

PP
No, long before "the last sock" may appear I buy another batch of 12 pairs.
Because they stand on the wall and say "nothing's gonna hurt you tonight, not on my watch".

I try to do a similar thing, although they've changed the design of sock so there will be a Last Sock at some point from the old set.

It would have made StarTrek more interesting. Instead of the transporter room, crew wished to be beamed could have gone to Scotty's cabin, opened his sock drawer, and jumped inside.

...or into his laundry basket, with all the dirty jocks.
