I'm feeling quite well, but get very tired.
You have a legitimate excuse for feeling tired.
Unfortunately, I feel that way too but without any reason.

Thanks PHXPhlyer, I pottered in the sunshine this morning without feeling any fatigue, so things must be improving, or maybe it's just the effects of a beautiful, sunny autumn day.

Cool weekend here, struggling to get much above 20C, when it's been over 30C fairly recently. Managed to arrange on Friday that there would be no gardening this weekend, by filling up both green bins - once they're full we tend to stop. Almost finished removing the tree that went down in high winds a couple of months ago, most of the branches are now gone, most of what's left is the big stuff that needs the chainsaw rather than smaller cutting devices. Also started trimming the lemon tree as I can reach parts of it, because it's getting a bit close to the power line to the house. It's full of lemons, so we now have two boxes of them that I removed from the branches that were trimmed. Can't wait for it to be empty of fruit because I think it's been continuously fruiting for at least a couple of years now.

English as she is spoke: following investigations, I have now learned who a "Gammon" might be.

- as far as the meat by that name is concerned, I knew what that was but I don't think I've ever seen the word used here, only rarely in British recipe-books.

A friend has just returned from holiday in Cyprus to UK. While there something stung her, putting her in hospital for several days. Feeling ill this morning. Looking at mosquitos+Cyprus on the 'net, some nasty viruses there. Any comments from you world travellers out there as to her next action ?

Cool morning here, actually cloudy. I will attempt some house cleaning which is long overdue.

OFSO, just the obvious: a second advice maybe?

Morning folks. Clear sky, bit cool. Was going to have a shower but I will wait until it gets a bit warmer out here. (outside shower).

I had to look it up, as I only knew the meat. Then I looked up 'gamin'. Almost the antithesis of your gammon.

Had a lovely lunch at our usual Sunday restaurant, but when Mme went to the WC at the end the door jammed thanks to another woman slamming the door and she couldn't get out. It's in a separate building. I sat at the table wondering. Could see a Fuss going in round the toilet block but couldn't be bothered to get up and look. Lovely young waitress came over to tell me I'd lost my wife ....twenty minutes later a nice Catalan gentleman dismantled the lock and she came back. Furious that I hadn't helped. Didn't like to tell her that as usual I had my Leatherman mini toolkit in my pocket.....

Yes, I'm a cad.

I trust you had entertained the other diners with a rendition of "Three old ladies locked in the lavatory"?

20°c, coming down from the high of 27°c.

Same as yesterday high white haze
Which is sneaking 100w/sqm off the heating effect.

Last night following Henry, had to RTB for emergency revenge attack.
Followed by 5 trips overnight, and a further four today at present.

Not feeling too good. It’ll pass.

Just had amail advising ITV for the VW due 25/6.
I’ll book it now.

Morning all. Up and down in the night, then slept to seven thirty. Hazy sky here. Trip to Chinese medical today to sort out digestion. An "alternative" practitioner whom I've used before and is very good. Actually Brazilian but used to live in China.

26°c, Told to expect 25°c.

Feel a little better.

Just had email advising ITV for the VW due 25/6.
I’ll book it now. Unable at midnight, no dates offered whole of June.
One will try again shortly.

Afternoon folks. Sunny. Took four attempts to pay the balance for the thatching. I always leave 24 hours between each attempt after paying a considerable sum twice (yet to be returned) a couple of weeks ago.

Buongiorno.
I hope those who have been Crook feel better soon.
Is 9°C now, was -0.9°C around 6am. Currently low winter sun, some cloud.

Observed a meteor early this morning, first one I've seen in ages.
