I'm unclear whether this thread is about NZ parents abandoning their children to a life of crime in Australia - which sound horrendous - or just a good old slanging match across the Tasman Sea.

My apologies if the link was unreadable by others, I had not noticed that no.
The link is a great article about an ex Kiwi criminal who is now reformed & helping NZ youth that come over with their parents and then get abandoned here by their parents, and yes it is horrendous. Who could abandon their children like that? It's unimaginable to me....but it happens, as told by the Youth workers who try to save these kids.
It happens. Its fact. The poor children are abandoned by their parents and left in little 'enclaves', Primarily the Logan area of South East Queensland. These enclaves are drug & crime hotspots, been known for years.
Its not so much a 'good old slanging match' as pointing out a rather unpalatable truth that even ex Kiwi residents acknowledge,.....the poor children being the 'collateral' and the wider populace subjected to an increasing crime wave.
But I suppose it's not PC or 'Woke' to raise facts like this.
Anyway, apologies for causing any offence, and I hope & pray for this gentleman's continued success at rehabilitation of these poor abandoned kids.

Ahah! So you cannot give us any creditable evidence that Kiwis are abandoning their children in Australia, as per the video I posted, "no surprises there".

It most certainly is acceptable here to raise it but with no obvious evidence this will only descend further into a scrap, so it is closed.But I suppose it's not PC or 'Woke' to raise facts like this.
