Waking up in Teddington UK. To say there's a difference between what I can see outside the window, and the media reports of heavy snow, gales, icebergs on the Thames, etc is an understatement.

15c it is and overcast. High expected today is 21c.

The rise in temperature, especially the minimum is welcome and means the thick rugby type fleeces can be put to one side.

Wonder if the cleaner will turn up this morning?

Mrs IB's art is cancelled.

The local council have changed the on line payment system for rates and car tax for yet another year. As with previous years changes, the latest one doesn't work either. Set of muppets.

Regarding 'hold music', when we had the office in Athens, it would automatically link you into one of the local radio stations (Galaxy FM) while you were on hold. Fortunately, they played a fair amount of English music, and if you were talking to the office in the UK and you put them on hold, they would complain if you cut in on Chris Rea or Jimmy Nail :) (The office was in Newcastle)

There was no extra charge for this either. Apparently, Galaxy took the view that by doing this, their advertising was reaching a wider audience.

Good Morning all,
Wx succinctly reported by *Ibbie* 'sept it's 18c now, still overcast.

SM off to El Medico soon, me off to Podiatrist soon.
I was having my feet by the unisex that SM uses she rarely failed to draw blood.
Her last effort went bad and had me visiting the Health Centre.
There I was advised to see a professional 'cos of type 2 which I now do.
She has the bestest chair in the whole world.

Morning folks,

White stuff descending from above but not enough to stop Mrs 4ma sending me out to collect her prescription.

The large tea mug is in use today.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

Must have passed you on foot yesterday. Walked miles to exit. Total distance walked yesterday BCN plus LHR 7600 steps.

Wife back from Waitrose. Veg and fruit shelves fully stocked. More media hysteria. 4° out. Drizzle. Forecast at 3pm 10°. No snow... Likewise.

Temperature has climbed to 22c. It's brighter but still cloudy.

Lunch time me thinks.

Nice sunset and a bloody noisy booze cruise. Inconsiderate black bastards.

Yesterday and the day before less than 2 miles from you were two of the coldest, most miserable days I've experienced in 30 years here, including that really fat, slow rain that thinks it's snow but bottles out on landing

Today is springlike by comparison, having moseyed round Molesey prior to a few sherbets with a an old mate

What I can see outside my window also looks different to the Thames. Although we're due another atmospheric river this weekend, so who knows...?

Mrs OFSO was shopping in Opsboi Town today. Said it was mild. Plenty of fruit and veg in Waitrose there.
We will not be readying our lifejackets just yet.

Shaping up for a beautiful autumn day here, 17C at present, 28C max forecast, clear skies. I'll find an excuse to be outside today.

Personally, I am using it at the moment to design a trailer.
Wonder when you last used it?

Used it yesterday while designing a tambour with compound curves.
