*Ibbie's* Wx report this norning quite accurate for here too.
12c descending now in a mix of low cloud and sea mist.

I feel tonight might be the last fire for a while.

Today's horoscope for me, Capricorn, says (and I'm not making this up) "you will have the sun in Uranus". A new reason for that 'burning sensation'.
Look on the bright side. :D
At least you received a warning so you can apply sunscreen in advance rather than some other ointment afterwards. :))

This analytical Virgo says you need a better astrologer. :))

Today the Sun is in Pisces, and Uranus (a planet, not a sign) is in Taurus. :-B

How many people believe in astrology?

Does it compete with religion?

No matter. Sunscreen applied. And Ruscus. Hope there's no flare coming.

Today the Sun is in Pisces
Sounds fishy to me...
Uranus (a planet, not a sign) is in Taurus.
Which presumably is where mythological BS originally comes from ;)))

I do (But only when the outlook is favorable).

Where would the RAF be without them?

Currently 24C, forecast max is 35C. I should go for a walk before it gets too hot. Then perhaps designing next project.

Brilliant moonlight last night, had to read a trashy novel before I could fall asleep. i-)

Full Moon in a little over thirteen hours, sky is hazier today, might not be so bright tonight.
17.4°C on my thermometer, or I could go to the nearest weather station where apparently it's two degrees warmer :))

Good news/bad news this evening.
My car with new cat convertor will be ready for collection tomorrow. Good.
However, this means I have to hand back the hire car with the heated steering wheel, and cold stuff promised tomorrow. Not so good.
But heated steering wheel apart, I hate the big clumsy thing, and will be glad to see the back of it. Good.
£250 excess to pay on insurance claim. Very bad. (but not so bad as if I'd to pay the lot.)

Likewise here. Read until Kindle battery went flat. Didn't get to sleep until about 0200.

MORNING ALL.

Unforecasted heavy rain last night. Shambles from the various people who predict the weather.

Presently 15c and cloudy. Once again it is thought a high of 20c possible this afternoon.

Blood test at 12.10 for keeping check on my iron level and PSA

Morning folks. Nice day but one is not awfully well. Quack tomorrow booked. Had chaps around this morning doing a few odd jobs. I can't walk far enough to check on them but Mrs Ex-Ascot says all good.

Good Moaning Everybody,

My overnight rain was a 95% guess and a successful guess at that just over 1cm.
Got soaked following H - the road was littered with toads from next door, have to be careful some species are poisonous and can kill a dog.
He is still here, bright eyed and bushy tailed so the ones he licked were ok.

Anyway up to 17c at present with scattered cloud.

Quiet from the STN area of Essex.

Recover *ExA*

Thank you Mam and Ibbie. I have my resident nursie but it is a case of getting the medication for the ticker correct. I find it very frustrating. Used to run around the mountains of Amorgos now can't even walk around the estate here.
