Morning all. Laundry day so up early. Off to GRN today to view exhibition room, set in a palace I believe. Then to department store to buy pajamas as mine are disintegrating.

Cloud and occasional showers were forecast today, so we had clear blue sky and a sunny 27 max today. Reluctantly forced myself to tidy my office this morning, then mowed the lawn this afternoon, as the grass was jumping out of the ground.

Only 3c here. Clear blue sky again. High of 16c suggested for late afternoon.

Tis Thursday, so it must be art day and cleaner day.

Just watched the ISS crossing overhead.

While waiting for it, observed Venus and Jupiter close together on the western horizon, Mars, and the bright Moon.

Still 21°C outdoors, house now feels stifling even with windows all open.
Around the world thoughts shall fly, In the twinkling of an eye

Good Moaning All,

6c when woken by henry greeting the Fibre optic installation people. 600 giga coming to a pole outside one's abode.
One is astonished that they are fibre opticing the campo.

Perfect Blue dome 11c already.

1cu metre wood to unload, that will be about it 1 knackered Wod.

My last bottle was indeed a Malbec.
Looks like Cabernet Sauvignon next, then!
Only a Barossa Shiraz for me, thank you!
to buy pajamas as mine are disintegrating.
An easy problem to solve, OFSO; Don't wear any!

I haven't worn PJ's in over 50 years! [-X

What are you trying to do with them. IMHO, the person who invented them deserves a medal. I use them for tying things down or up, and for clamping complex assemblies while gluing them up. Great things.
I'm trying to do something that should be rather simple.....but I must be the simple one!

I am once again in possession of a rather lovely 'Tinny' (Alumunium boat) a little larger than the old one and with a rather larger motor. I bought it off Jnr Fliegs 6 months ago, and have since been looking for a suitable car with which to tow it. Price, suitability to park in a Docs car park, Mrs Fliegs driveability (?) etc etc were all considerations.

Jnr Fligs used a 2500kg rated ratchet strap tp secure boat to trailer...has warned me strap is so strong could bend the boat.

I went out with him on it last weekend so he could take me through the basics, and theres a lot to it in terms of electrical connections, operating the motor (different to the last boat) and a whole raft of things to remember!

Further delaying things was I needed to replace the trailer lights,, done now with fully submersible set.

Anyway, releasing the tension of the ratcheting up of the straps that secure the vessel to the vehicular trailer is something I've never had to deal with before. When I 'You Tube' ratchet sttraps there are so many videos, I'm clearly not alone!!

We walked thru the centre of Girona today for the first time in two years. Lovely old arcaded traffic free zone. Horrors. Three out of five shops and restaurants closed, boarded up, vandalised. Welcome to prosperous Spain.

Another cold start: only 5c and clear blue sky. High temp of 16c this afternoon. Wind is keeping temperature down.

Apparently we is going into town later for madam to spend some vouchers she received at Xmas at the Irish company's store.

Ed and I shall take a walk by the river whilst she does that.

It's Friday again.

Blue Dome, 10c seaweed 17c.

Off to the driving hell of central AGP shortly, SM getting a supply of PRP drops to get through Semana Santa.

Hurt shoulder unloading 1cu meter of wood yesterday.

Morning folks. Overcast and cool. Big thunderstorm overnight. Two months now and no airline pension. I will phone them up. Probably assuming that I am dead again. I am getting pissed off with people assuming that I am dead and closing down pensions and banks.

Just phoned them. What a runaround and why don't people have a sense of humour. 'Is there anything else I can do for you Sir' Yes buy me a beer. No reply.

Terrible accident RiS. Guess he is up for manslaughter then if you have the same laws as the UK.

No she didn't get me a beer but I do have one by me. Monday 17th April. Keep it clear. The D=Rs are in town. Impact ATH 13.30.

Weather clearing up now.

Three different firms strung fibre up our urbanisation but incomprehensible tarifs and no answer as to the actual connection to the house. Looked them up on Spanish equivalent of Trust Pilot and reviews poor. Will stay with 4G movie star although expensive.

Need new tires for Mondeo. Big wide things. Went to Ford as they usually have discounts. Over €800 for four. Tried local tireman, asked for Hankook. €588.
Hankook came second overall in the ADAC tire tests and first for driving in the wet. If they are good enough for Germans, for me they also are gut.
