Arran Boat Song ~ Performed by Darol Anger, Alasdair Fraser and the Valley Of The Moon ensemble. [3:01]

The image is of the standing stones of Arran Island.

'An accident to the boot-oil,' I explained. 'If I get down to my last three shirts you will notice it.'

Ma'am, your soul, your decent presence, comments and, at least music, are just the beginning of why you are loved here...

The Kokatahi Band are a New Zealand treasure, first formed in 1910 they recreate the music found on the gold fields of the West Coast in the 1800's.
This is taken from the album "Kokatahi Band on Tour" published by Kiwi Records, 1971:

Pack Up Your Troubles/Keep the Home Fires Burning [3:12]

Kokatahi Band, Hokitika 28 Jan, 2023, medley [3:08]

'An accident to the boot-oil,' I explained. 'If I get down to my last three shirts you will notice it.'

I have just watched/listened to, the first of the videos that Karearea posted, and must admit that I had to wipe a tear away...

The Kiwis make a lot of sense to me. The kind of people that abide, and for whom I have the greatest respect.

Good people, when all is said and done.

I have several 'hard copy' CDs of Runrig in my collection as I await the takedown of 'streaming' by TPTB which will be imposed against the odd rebel out in the sticks ! X(

Patlansky in the morning with an evocative cover of the Leonard Cohen classic. Dan is from the top drawer of the world's bluesmen and hails from that wretchedly dysfunctional state known as South Africa.

Miley Cyrus - Just Breathe = very listenable.

Powerful song and images in Lady Gaga's song-video. :-bd
