Don't profess to now anything about plants other than the ones I put on my plate. Got a neighbour to cut this thing back quite a few months ago, and now find it's got lots of nice looking "shoots" appearing, so dug one up and stuck it in a pot. Have absolutely no idea what it is. Help requested, please.

Re: Plant Identification
Thanks Sise. Apparently there are forty odd varieties of Dracena. Not sure which one I've got. Interesting fact; Dracena was quite high up in NASA's list of air cleaning plants for use in space stations etc., and is widely used in commercial premises for that same reason.

Re: Plant Identification
When they flower (rarely) the perfume is almost overpowering but will keep your pad smelling nicely better than an air wick thingy.

Re: Plant Identification
Following on from the clue from Sise, determined it's a Dracaena Janet Craig. Dug up a sizable stem/cane and potted it for inside. Looks nice.
