Left of #1 on a German keyboard pressing shift gives you the degree symbol: °
To the right of the Ü there is a key that has +*~ but I don't know how you get that on top of an n.

When I was doing my internship, one of my bosses was Mexican. She could never remember the word tilde. She always said "it's an N with an enya!"
