If it does the job (which it does) and you keep the bugs out of it, why not? Mine is a clone running on a 250gb SSD from - er - Maplin. Linux lives next door.

Bit the bullet just now and upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. Hardly any difference, a few new/changed icons, location of some links has changed and the "sounds" are different.

That's a bit recent - not long ago I supplied some parts to a well-known engineering company who needed bits compatible with their Windows 3.11 systems.

Unrealistic system requirements, along with doubts about capabilities missing in the new Start menu and taskbar, are the most persistent complaints from those previewing Windows 11, though it has also won praise for its fresh appearance and cleaner design.
