Royal Enfield have become very successful with their "modern" classic 1950/60's inspired range of bikes, I have had three of them, BSA has now risen from the ashes with a new modern designed bike, a 650 single which looks very nice, as it has an electric start it could be added to the fleet in due course.

I still remember the green bikes, metal leg shields, tall wind screen. Leatherette and peaked helmet, mackintosh and gauntlets.

I had electrically heated gauntlets for my winter commuting. Roasty toasty!
