They'll probably keep one runway open to accommodate Bombardier. I think there's a heavy maintenance contractor up there also. That airport would have been viable if they had built a rapid rail link to downtown and the quick link to Ottawa. Davaar was an assistant deputy minister of transport when that white elephant was in the planning stage. His was the only dissenting voice on the committee that decided to build it. He told me his governmental career went downhill after that.
