Re: Deadline
Jim, I don't think that anyone has whinged about the £3 donation, looking back at the thread it seems that it is more the acerbic and confrontational style of the moderator that has irked members, to refer to the mild and pleasant VP as on drugs and being a prima donna is rudeness beyond comprehensi...

Re: Deadline
That is a very generous offer Seen, however I have borrowed £3 from my wife, but a kind thought all the same. I am saddened by the number of old original members that are no longer posting, with VP as the latest casualty, I do hope this isn't three quid down the drain. John, you could always put a P...

Re: Subs payments please!
I don't know, it is the most entertaining thread posted in the past six months, good value for money I'd say.It might be a good idea to take this 'discussion' to the private part of the forum. To 'non-members' viewing we may be making rather a spectacle of ourselves.

I have now had two posts removed by our self imposed moderator, I have been on this forum since day 1, I don't swear, post whilst drunk or make personal attacks on anyone, however I fear I must depart as I am unable to post my thoughts here due to the new moderation policy. I have enjoyed your compa...

Re: Censoring
My dear Mrs Ex A, my apologies for the omission, I didn't realise the sheriff's deputies were ladies!
Out of curiosity, what exactly do you three ladies do to preserve our sensibilities? Are three ladies enough, it doesn't sound very many, not for a forum this size.

I thought you were ignoring me, that didn't last long did it.
I have no idea who the other members of the group are, they are understandably keeping very quiet.
The fact that all this dialog is going on indicates that you have lost the plot.
Enjoy your sandcastles.

Re: Censoring
We have, as you all know, a small but 'beautifully formed' group of members assisting with 'admin' decisions. I would like to 'recruit' volunteers from the areas where time zones are around 12 hours adrift on GMT, ie the antipodes etc., and also from the USA. If anyone is interested, please contact...

To see the site under the administration of a discreet impartial and efficient moderator who is not trying to build an empire for his/her own satisfaction. Can you please tell us how you would like the site run rather than bleat?

we actually removed one against you... =)) ). Yes I know, and the person who made it is still posting on here. We understand that there are four or five or six Administrator Assistants to aid the moderation of the site, and yet more positions are advertised, presumably so that the forum can be prowled in the dark hours by Antipodean Administration Assistants, looking for ...

Re: A UK Summer Beer Drought?
Exsp, yes the brewery is still going strong, it is much modernised now and on a smaller plot within the original site, (which has been turned over to housing developments), they still brew Badger, Tanglefoot, Golden Champion, Blandford Fly, Poacher and Fursty Ferret. I did a tour a few years ago, ve...

Re: A UK Summer Beer Drought?
IPAs are becoming very popular, most of the small independents are in fact owned by Marsdens: Ringwood, Jennings, Wytchwood and Wainwrights all brew IPA but are all under the same ownership, but all brew very distinctive beer.
