Very interesting.
Orcas will eat whales. He probably pulled the boats out so they'd kill a whale and he could catch a meal while they were chopping up the carcass.

The coyotes probably invited the dog over for lunch.

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Does anyone still mail checks? :-? :-?? I did last week. Some dog events are still lacking alternative payment methods. Sometimes there's a "convenience fee" for paying on-line, which often encourages me to pay by check because I bet it costs them way more to have to handle a physical check, deposi...

Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread VI

Hello from California. Nice warm day today, doesn't seem to be as toasty as yesterday. Did some FastCAT with Faraday this weekend, she's slowing down now, so definitely just for fun rather thank rankings now. However, two of her puppies are currently the fastest Leonbergers in the country this year.

One for Woody... Erik ten Hag walks into a bank to cash a cheque. As he approaches the cashier he says, "Good morning, Ms could you please cash this cheque for me?" Cashier:"It would be my pleasure. Could you please show me your ID?" Ten Hag:"Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn't thi...

Re: RFA crew shortage as well as a Rear Admiral shortage....

My classic was having the Weapons (including nuclear) Employment Course, NBC Instructor, and a Physics degree, and I'd done some work at Harwell, but still having to do the one day school radiation source supervisor course. Utter waste of everyone's time. But that's box-ticking (or not) for you! My...

Good morning all, grey day with a bit of rain this morning. Currently 12C, forecast max 18C. I may have mentioned this before but I'm sure when I was at school it was "rooves" :-\ but that seems out of favour these days. Indeed, rooves is the plural of roof, staves the plural of staff (as in survey...

The playback was useful for training new sim instructors, because it enabled the instructor trainer to point out the cues that a crew were approaching their capacity limits. This helped the new instructors learn whether more value would be gained by adding further workload or emergencies, or not. D...

FTFY. There's a large amount of evidence, all of which needs further investigation to corroborate, and none of which is being allowed to be investigated further. Same as Bush-Gore 2000. That's because you've got your spellcheck set up incorrectly. Proper English uses "tyres". :ymdevil:
