Re: Spitfire Crash

BBMF 'grounded' until the results of the Spitfire crash is investigated, therefore no DDay flights.

Re: Passengers Behaving Badly

As they had 'restrained' the streaker, why did they return to departure airport?

Does Australia only have 'facilities' at certain bases and not at 'outposts'?

One was a Baker and asked to go in baking the other was a motor mechanic and asked to go in transport. I think they both went in the infantry.

I believe there was a 'medical' and some were rejected because of 'flat feet'.

Re: Peregrine falcons at Worcester Cathedral

Someone asked what happened to the 'fluff' feathers - the latest pictures show the flight feathers 'grow through' the fluff.

I wonder what prevents the chicks from 'taking off' before the flight feathers are ready?

It might be preferable to 'enlist' youngsters into 'work' - if only as baristas.

Re: Spitfire Crash

Isn't the Spitfire a 'basic' aircraft with relatively little to go wrong that would prejudice the flyability of the aircraft?

Re: Peregrine falcons at Worcester Cathedral

Currently only two seen = one almost ready to fledge and feeding itself and the other 'younger' in appearance.

Three now - one still 'fluffy'.

Charles is afraid that 'the public' will interpret the action as persecution and a 'badge of honour'.

Him and her will certainly consider themselves persecuted.

I travelled to New Zealand to see Comet Halley.

It was fainter than I expected - I anticipated a firework in the sky.

Re: Chaos in France

I used to muse about two old fishermen sitting comparing words in Danish and English.

Whilst there are similarities, there are, also, differences.
The English worn 'sky' refers to the blue bit, whereas in Danish it refers to 'cloud' or shade.
