Re: The US Hamster Wheel

I knew I could provoke some other amateur pedant with that one!

Re: The US Hamster Wheel

4. One problem for you, not for me, is your failure to know and adhere to grammar, syntax, and punctuation rules that does sometimes tend to point to your lack of erudition and thoughtfulness. If you want to work on that, why not? If you don't, who cares? Donald Trump loves the poorly educated! Ooo...

Re: The US Hamster Wheel

It certainly is Cape and I do agree, but practicly speaking as much as I despise extremists of any religon, it only seems to be the Muslims and to some extent Israeli Jews that are so violent about it, was different in the past but talking about now. There are of course non religous extremists too, ...

Re: The US Hamster Wheel

The Muslim Immigrant Ban, whilst poorly considered (though I don't see why it cant be tweaked a bit ), is the one thing I agree with Trump on and applaud him for sticking his neck out on this one. I see it being labelled devisive by the western media, well lets be honest, Islam itself is wholly devi...

Re: The US Hamster Wheel

As for the UN. While it has done and does some good in terms of feeding, sheltering, inoculating and such, it's obsession with eliminating Israel is proving to be its undoing. Well done Ben, that is just the sort of post truth off the cuff opinion masquarading as fact that your president would thro...

Re: The US Hamster Wheel

A news item made me smile earlier, a Radio 4 news roundup touched on Mr Trump's initiative of re-introducing torture for accused terrorists, the dead pan BBC announced it by quoting Mr Trump that "it is effective, and besides they deserve it". In general I am quite in favour of Mr Trump, ...

Another Lie

Lets face it when it comes to telling porkies Trump is major league.
What's shocking is how supposedly intelligent (well at least they will tell you so) adults, take his lead, tell there own lies and do their utmost to reinforce his fantasies.

The Post truth era is indeed upon us.

Re: Selfies

What saddens me is the modern phenomena of someone getting their phone or camera out whilst standing in view of some really awesome/majestic/beautifull thing that they might not even get the chance to see again in their sad little lifetime and instead of taking a photo of the really awesome/majestic...

Re: F104 Restored and flying again

Nice, a few 2 seat versions of single seat Fighter/attack aircraft look pretty (to my eye) and the TF 104 is one.
Jaguar and Harrier also look much more pleasing in their 2 seat version (imo)

Re: The Trump Hamster Wheel

It's cheap, too. You can take dinner out every night and have lobster, margaritas, and such and come home with change from a $20 bill. In the morning, you hang out on a sugar white sand beach, swilling a nice espresso crema until you switch to the margaritas at noon and take in the ubiquitous buffet...

Pardon my out-of-touch-edness, I got bored following the story of the low cost, replacement for the F16 about a decade ago, but now that it costs more than most airliners, are they honestly considering it in the CAS role?, You can buy a shed load of Shilkas for 100 million squid-a-roonies

I have been puzzled for weeks, over an apparent tomato thief, every time I visit my greenhouse, all the ripe tomatoes are gone and empty vines with brown stems remain...I mean...stealing tomatoes?, its not like they are expensive and I've not noticed any starving hordes anywhere nearby...Hmmm. So, t...

Re: 60 years of attack-free peace

I just picked up another book that I'm reading concurrently with the Jefferson book. My new book is over 2000 pages and I've read about 75. It's The Jewish Study Bible, 2nd Edition. I'm not a practicing member of any church, but I recognize there is so much history, culture, and general tapestry of...
