Re: Reliant on automation?
Funnily enough, my last sim had a fair bit of hand flying in it. Specific exercises to get the scan working etc. Quite fun. Our company insists we practice hand flying when appropriate. I have done revenue flights where the A/P has failed and it would have been too costly both in time and money to c...

Struggling to motivate myself to do the next essay... Sigh. It's raining so there's no excuse not to do it.
Re: Rugby
Looks like Eddie Jones has made a positive impact on the England squad.
Re: Cycling
Well, the sun was shining on Good Friday so I went out. Bloody dropper post played up again so the seat was more or less as low as it would go. Grr. That made pedaling a touch tricky, not to mention very inefficient. Any way, headed to Woburn to have a look at their new trail that's being built. The...

Re: Best meals ever
First time we ate at the Fat Duck in Bray UK. Incredible. Truly amazing food. Now... TV success has taken *something* away. Thoroughly enjoy every feast at Paris House, Woburn. Love their food. Lovely setting too. Great little family run pizza place near the hotel we stay at in Venice. Yum. Best piz...

Here's a question. Would she forgive you if you shagged someone else?
Re: Cycling
Also one of the reasons why I tend to do more MTB than road riding. First ride of the year in the UK on Saturday. Good little XC blast. Quite pleased with the hill climbs (as in got up them) and the descents went well too. Used a tip I read about with body position. Instead of just hanging as far ba...

Re: Day surgery, sebacceous cyst
Oooh. I've had an infected sebacious cyst removed years ago. Also had the joys of boils etc. The doozy was the abscess on my tummy. I got that carved out way back in 2001. Bloody hell, the local anaesthetic jabs didn't half hurt. Oooooh. Ahh ganglions... Any bastard even dreams about coming near me ...

Re: Good Bye Puddycats
DNA analysis show cats have been in Australia for about 1,000 years. Being of desert origin, they have adapted rather well to the Australian way of life... All these cute little critters to munch.
Re: Cycling
Yep, just back from Australia. I borrowed my FIL's bike and tackled some of the routes in Tewantin National park. Woo hoo. Missed my bike but still had a lot of fun.

Re: Cycling
Went out for a social ride around Grafham Waters with some like minded folks. No rain and rather warm for this time of year. Pleasant day out and the big fella enjoyed it too. Happy days.
